Prerogative of the Crown
Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in
Council is pleased to cause a Proclamation to be prepared for the signature of Her
Honour the Lieutenant Governor, to summon the Members of the Fifty-First House
of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador to meet for the dispatch of business on
Monday, November 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. and to signify that they should proceed to
choose some person to be their Speaker and to present such persons for the Lieutenant
Governor’s approbation on the date on which the purposes for which the General
Assembly has been called together are to be declared.
