Under the authority of subsection 5(1) of the Serious Incident Response Team Act,

the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Stephen Ring as the

Interim Director of the Serious Incident Response Team, effective November 22,

2025, at his current salary, with normal step progressions and general salary increases

to apply, and with benefits to include payment of practice fees in the Law Society of

Newfoundland and Labrador, for the earlier of a one-year term or until the position

is filled permanently.
