Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to move that the

Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint

Lela Margaret Ann Evans as Minister of Women and Gender Equality in addition

to her duties as Minister of Health and Community Services, Minister of Mental

Health and Addictions, Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador Health

Services, Minister of Labrador Affairs, and Minister of Indigenous Relations and

Reconciliation, with effect from February 24,2026.
