Under the authority of section 14 of the Abitibi-Consolidated Rights and Assets

Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of

Energy and Mines to issue licences to Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro-

Electric Corporation, as required, for the operation of the hydro-electric

generating facilities, and their associated transmission and auxiliary facilities, at

Grand Falls-Windsor, Bishop’s Falls, Star Lake and Buchans, effective July 1,

2026 to June 30, 2028, substantially along the lines as on file with the Clerk of

the Executive Council, including:

a) the occupation, use and access to all facilities described in Schedule C of the

Abitibi-Consolidated Rights and Assets Act;

b) water rights consistent with the water use licences described in Schedule B

of the Abitibi-Consolidated Rights and Assets Act; and

c) those easements described in Schedule D of the Abitibi-Consol idated Rights

and Assets Act.
