Executive Council Act
Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of
the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint John Cowan as
Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines, on an acting basis, in addition to his duties as
Deputy Minister of Government Services, effective June 29, 2026, with no change in
salary as a result of this additional assignment.
