Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 22 and 23 of the Memorial University Act, section

10 of the College Act, 1996, and in accordance with paragraphs 9(2)(a) and 9(2)(b)

of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in

Council is pleased to make the following reappointments and appointment to

Memorial University’s Board of Regents, each for a three-year term:

Reappointments:

a) Justin Ladha, general member representative and Chairperson, effective

June 16, 2026;

b) Tim Powers, general member representative, effective June 16, 2026;

c) Lynn Zurel, general member representative, effective June 16, 2026;

d) Bob Hallett, general member representative, effective June 22, 2026; and

Appointment:

e) Donna Rideout, joint Memorial University-College of the North Atlantic

representative, effective from a current date.
