Executive Council Act and Petroleum and Natural Gas Act
Under the authority of section 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 33 of the
Petroleum and Natural Gas Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased for the
Premier and the Minister of Energy and Mines, as appropriate, to execute Formal
Agreements in respect of the Bay du Nord Development Project, including the Bay
du Nord Benefits Agreement, the Bay du Nord Royalty Agreement, and all ancillary
agreements and documents, substantially along the lines as on file with the Clerk of
the Executive Council.
