Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Judith Hearn

as Deputy Minister of K-12 Education, in the Department of Education and Early

Childhood Development, to include responsibility for K-12 Education, Education

Operations, Early Learning, Child Care and Inclusion, and Corporate Services,

effective August 10, 2026, at her current salary and point scale on the Executive

Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increase

applicable to Executive to apply.
