Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of

the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Chad Blundon

as Assistant Secretary to Cabinet, Legal and Legislative Affairs, Office of the

Executive Council, effective August 3, 2026, with salary at Step 6 of the Solicitor V

pay scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases to apply, and

with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of

Newfoundland and Labrador.
