Executive Council Act
Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of
the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint
Emily Thompson as Assistant Secretary to Cabinet, Social Policy, Office of the Executive
Council, effective August 3, 2026, with salary at Step 20 on the 1560 Point Scale on
the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary
increases applicable to Executive to apply.
