Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the

Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased for the Department of Transportation and

Infrastructure to pre-commit funds, excluding HST, against its budgetary

appropriations for fiscal year 2026-27, to facilitate the award of the contracts for the

provision of accommodation for the 2026 fire season as follows:

a) $150,480.00 with Mom’s Place Limited in Happy Valley-Goose Bay;

b) $60,960.00 with Westlab Shopping Centre Limited (The Collegiate Suites) in

Labrador City;

c) $140,910.00 with Irving West, Limited in Gander; and

d) $69,741.00 with Lakeside Cabins Ltd. in Deer Lake.
