Under the authority of section 4 the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to move that His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint the Honourable Darin King, to the Executive Council of the Province as Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development;  Minister of Justice and Public Safety; Minister Responsible for Fire and Emergency Services – Newfoundland and Labrador; Minister Responsible for the Research and Development Corporation; and Government House Leader, with effect from March 12, 2015.
