Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds in the amount of $18,682,000 in 2013-14, $15,868,000 in 2014-15 and $6,100,000 in 2015-16 to facilitate the award of a contract to H.J. O'Connell Construction Ltd. for the replacement the Sir Ambrose Shea (Placentia) Lift Bridge.
