Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding up to $14,000,000 against its 2016-17 budgetary appropriation and up to $270,000 against its 2017-18 budgetary appropriation to facilitate the awarding of a contract to Marco Services Ltd. for the construction of the Portugal Cove-St. Philips New Grade 5-9 School.
