Under the authority of subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to lease:
a) 41,078 square feet of office space and 2,532 square feet of storage space from Fortis Properties, occupied by the Forestry and Agrifoods Agency and located at Fortis Tower and Millbrook Mall in Corner Brook, for a term up to and including August 31, 2017, at a total rental rate of $861,500 per annum, plus HST;
b) 4,730 square feet of office space from Redwood Management Limited, occupied by Service Newfoundland and Labrador (Workplace Health, Safety, and Compensation Review Division) and located in Dorset Place, 6 Mount Carson Avenue, Mount Pearl, for a term up to and including February 4, 2019 and, if required, on a month to month basis thereafter, at an annual rental rate of $120,615 plus HST; and
c) 1,261 square feet of office space from Komatik Real Estate Corporation, occupied by the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and located at 169 Hamilton River Road, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, for a term up to and including November 30, 2019 and, if required, on a month to month basis thereafter, at an annual rental rate of $30,000 plus HST.
