Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Counsel is pleased to appoint Ms. Susan Walsh as Assistant Deputy Minister in Fire and Emergency Services – Newfoundland and Labrador in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective August 26, 2015, with salary at an appropriate step on the 1312 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Walsh to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to August 26, 2015, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
