Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Counsel is pleased to appoint Ms. Karen Stone as Assistant Deputy Minister (Population Health) in the Department of Health and Community Services, effective August 26, 2015, at her current salary and Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, and with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Stone to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to August 26, 2015, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
