Under the authority of section 53 of the Lands Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to amend, retroactive to March 29, 2013, OC885-59 as issued on February 18, 1960, to Her Majesty in Right of Canada, by deleting the condition “b) if and as soon as the said area is no longer used for the purpose of a public wharf, the administration, management and control thereof shall thereupon revert to Her Majesty in right of Newfoundland, and” and substituting the condition “b) The said area is to be used for the purposes of a public wharf, and in the event Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada divests itself of the lands contained in this Transfer, the lands are only to be conveyed to the Long Pond Harbour Authority Inc. for the purposes of a public wharf, and the Long Pond Harbour Authority Inc. cannot divest itself of this property without the consent of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Newfoundland and Labrador”.
