Under the authority of section 7.1 of the Provincial Court Act, 1991, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, after consultation with the Chief Judge, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Judge Michael A. Madden as the Associate Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective immediately.
