Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Jamie Chippett as Deputy Minister (Municipal Affairs) within the Department of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, effective October 12, 2015, at his current salary and Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded by Mr. Chippett to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to October 12, 2015, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which he has been appointed herein.
