Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to pre-commit funding in the amount of $10,000,000 against its 2016-17 budget appropriations and the amount of $3,772,350 against its 2017-18 budget appropriations, to facilitate the award of a contract to Brook Construction (2007) Inc. for the construction of the new Gander Grade 4-6 school.
