Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to pre-commit funding in the amount of $4,500,000 against its 2016-17 budget appropriations and the amount of $902,092 against its 2017-18 budget appropriations, to facilitate the award of a contract to First Canadian Group Limited for the extension and renovations of St. Peter’s Junior High School.
