Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Office of the Chief Information Officer to pre-commit funds of up to $1.6 million, against its budgetary appropriations for each of 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19, to facilitate the award of the contract to Microsoft for the provision of server and enterprise application software products.
