Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Fiona Langor as Assistant Deputy Minister (Strategic and Corporate Services), in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective January 18, 2016, with a 10% increase applied to her current salary, and with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Langor to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to January 18, 2016, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
