Under the authority of section 3 of the National Parks Lands Act, sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation, the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into  two agreements to complete the transfer of administration and control of lands and the assignment of existing provincial leases and licenses to the Government of Canada for the purpose of establishing the Mealy Mountains National Park Reserve.
