Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding against its budgetary appropriations in the amount of $5,000,000 in 2014/15 to facilitate the award of a contract to Mike Kelly and Sons Ltd. for the widening of the first 80 kilometres of Phase II of the Trans Labrador Highway.
