Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Advanced Education and Skills to pre-commit funds in the amount of $2 million, against its budgetary appropriations in 2016-17, to facilitate the award of contract extensions to authorized private institutions for the provision of Adult Basic Education.
