Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Health and Community Services to pre-commit funding in the amount of $3,720,000, against its budgetary appropriations in 2016-17, to facilitate the contract extension with Bell Canada for the Real-Time Claim Adjudication System for the Newfoundland and Labrador Prescription Drug Program to March 31, 2017.
