Under the authority of section 5 of the Rail Service Act, 2009, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to grant approval for the purchase and operation of the Bloom Lake Railway by Quebec Iron Ore Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Champion Iron Limited), from Cliff Natural Resources Inc., subject to the continuation of the existing agreement on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council and the conditions established in the release from environmental assessment in 2008.
