Under the authority of sections 3, 4 and 7 of the Housing Corporation Act, paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Tom Lawrence as a Member, Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, in an acting capacity, effective July 26, 2016 and until such time as the positions are permanently filled, with salary prorated for the period of this temporary assignment to reflect a 10% increase, which would place him temporarily at an appropriate step on the 2328 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policy and Procedures approved by MC91-0016.
