Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds in the amount of $2,450,000 against its budgetary appropriations in 2017-18, to facilitate a contract extension with Johnson’s Construction Limited for road maintenance services on the Trans-Labrador Highway between Red Bay and Happy Valley-Goose Bay, to September 30, 2017.
