Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding in the amount of $39,759,499 against its 2017-18 budget appropriations to facilitate the award of contracts to Johnson’s Construction Limited for the paving of the Trans Labrador Highway from Red Bay to Lodge Bay and from Lodge Bay to Charlottetown Junction.
