Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to create the Department of Environment and Climate Change, effective August 18, 2016, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Environment and Conservation and all of those functions formerly within the Office of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, with three branches as follows:
a) Environment; and
b) Natural Heritage; and
c) Climate Change.
