Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective August 18, 2016, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Municipal Affairs and all of those functions formerly within the agency known as Fire and Emergency Services – Newfoundland and Labrador, with four branches as follows:
a) Engineering Infrastructure;
b) Municipal Support;
c) Fire, Emergency and Corporate Services; and
d) Lands.
