Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to create the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, effective August 18, 2016, to consist of all those functions formerly within the Department of Advanced Education and Skills and all of those functions formerly within the Labour Relations Agency, with five branches as follows:
a) Corporate Services;
b) Regional Services Delivery;
c) Workforce Development and Immigration;
d) Post-Secondary Education; and
e) Labour Policy and Services.
