Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and section 3 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure Executive Council, effective August 18, 2016, to exclude all of those functions formerly within the Office of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency and all of those functions formerly within the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Office of the Office of Public Engagement; and to reassign the Public Engagement, Voluntary and Non-Profit Engagement, and Youth Engagement functions formerly within the Office of Public Engagement, with eight offices as follows:
a) Intergovernmental Affairs Secretariat;
b) Women’s Policy Office;
c) Cabinet Secretariat;
d) Office of the Premier;
e) Office of the Chief Information Officer;
f) Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs;
g) Human Resources Secretariat; and
h) Communications and Public Engagement Branch.
