Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Dana Spurrell as Assistant Deputy Minister (Fire, Emergency and Corporate Services) in the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective August 18, 2016, at her current salary and Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to August 18, 2016, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
