Under the authority of subsection 3(5) of the Waste Management Regulations, 2003 and paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the Deputy Minister of Environment and Climate Change as Chairperson of the Multi Materials Stewardship Board, on an interim basis, effective August 18, 2016, until such time as the position is filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act.
