Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Elizabeth Day as Deputy Clerk of the Executive Council and Associate Secretary to Cabinet, on an acting basis, in addition to her duties as Assistant Secretary to Cabinet (Social Policy), effective September 20, 2016, with salary at Step 17 on the 2228 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.  The salary adjustment shall apply for the duration of the acting appointment only.
