Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, effective October 28, 2016, with two branches as follows: 

a) Corporate and School Infrastructure; and
b) Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education and Early Childhood Development.
