Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Justice and Public Safety, effective October 28, 2016, with four branches as follows: a) Courts and Corporate Services;
b) Legal Services and Office of the Legislative Counsel; c) Public Prosecutions; and d) Public Safety and Enforcement.
