Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Julian McCarthy as Assistant Deputy Minister (Regulatory Affairs), with responsibility for the proper conduct of the Occupational Health and Safety Act in accordance with paragraph 2(a) of that Act, in the Department of Service Newfoundland and Labrador, effective October 28, 2016, at his current salary and Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
