Public Inquiries Act, 2006
Under the authority of section 29 of the Public Inquiries Act, 2006, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council hereby provides that the following matters are the exclusive responsibility of the National Inquiry and the Government of Canada in accordance with the Inquiries Act (Canada) and shall be determined in accordance with the Inquiries Act (Canada) and by the terms of reference established under that Act:a) remuneration of commissioners;
b) remuneration of witnesses;
c) allowances to witnesses for travel and other expenses;
d) other expenditures for services and facilities;
e) remuneration and expenses for services provided to the National Inquiry; and
f) the manner in which the amount of funding that a participant is entitled to is calculated.
