Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Lori Anne Companion as Deputy Minister in the Department of Advanced Education and Skills, effective August 19, 2013, at Step 16 on the 2328 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Ms. Companion’s salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, where applicable.
