Under the authority of section 21 of the Hydro Corporation Act, 2007, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance, acting for and on behalf of the Crown, to unconditionally guarantee the borrowings by Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000,000, prior to March 31st, 2018, at a rate of interest and on terms and conditions that the Minister of Finance may approve.
