Under the authority of section 4(2) of the Lands Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation to issue a grant of Crown land, comprising an area not to exceed 89.1 hectares located near Frenchman’s Cove in the Electoral District of Grand Bank, to the Burin Peninsula Waste Management Corporation for a fee of $1.00, for the purpose of a waste management facility, subject to the terms and conditions normally applicable for the issuance of such grants.
