Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Barry Dawe as Assistant Deputy Minister – Ocean Technology in the Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, effective June 4, 2012, with salary at step 22 on the 1450 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan approved by MC91-0016 upon appointment, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Dawe’s current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, where applicable.
