Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mike Samson as the Acting Deputy Minister of the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective July 3, 2012, until the appointment of a permanent incumbent, in addition to his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer (Fire & Emergency Services), with no change in salary as a result of this additional assignment.
