Under the authority of s. 117 of the Public Utilities Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Thomas Johnson as Consumer Advocate, effective June 13, 2012, to represent the interests of domestic and general service consumers on terms acceptable to the Minister of Justice, after consultation with the Public Utilities Board, for the purposes of participating in the upcoming general rate and capital budget applications of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro and Newfoundland Power Inc.
