Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding against its budgetary appropriations in the amount of $11,081,700 in 2017-18, and $2,985,800 in 2018-19, to facilitate the extension of ferry contracts within the province.
